Emma Lavelle hoping Warwick survives the midweek freeze with My Silver Lining on course for Classic Chase repeat bid
Emma Lavelle believes conditions have come right for My Silver Lining’s bid to become the first back-to-back winner of the Classic Chase at Warwick on Saturday and hopes the track can survive the midweek freeze.
My Silver Lining provided a fairytale family success for owner Celia Djivanovic, who is the mother-in-law of the mare’s regular rider James Best, in the 3m5f handicap chase last season.
The nine-year-old backed up the win with placed efforts in Haydock’s Grand National Trial and the Midlands National at Uttoxeter. She was pulled up on her first two starts this season but there was more to like about her recent third at Hereford.
