Paul Nicholls looks set to unleash an array of stars at Newbury's two-day Coral Gold Cup meeting starting on Friday, with €740,000 purchase Caldwell Potter in contention to start his chasing career.
Captain Teague could also tackle fences for the first time after his walkover at Exeter, while dual bumper winner Regent's Stroll, who changed hands for £660,000 in the summer, is set for his hurdling debut.
Nicholls also has high hopes for Coral Gold Cup contender Kandoo Kid, who will bid to give the 14-time champion a fourth success in Newbury's biggest jump race on Saturday, a contest he also won twice as a jockey.
