Confirmed runners and riders for the Coral Gold Cup and Fighting Fifth Hurdle
Colonel Harry is one of 14 declared for Saturday's Coral Gold Cup (3.00) at Newbury as Jamie Snowden bids for a second successive victory in the £250,000 contest.
A winner with Datsalrightgino 12 months ago, Snowden is represented by Grade 2 winner Colonel Harry, who is a general 5-1 favourite for the race after finishing second in a Listed event at Carlisle this month.
Broadway Boy has also been declared for the Nigel Twiston-Davies team and is expected to be a leading player having won six of his 14 starts. The six-year-old was last seen finishing third behind the reopposing Senior Chief at Cheltenham last month.
Senior Chief, who is trained by Henry de Bromhead and has won four of his eight previous starts, is one of three representatives from Ireland, with Horantzau d'Airy running for champion trainer Willie Mullins and Grandero Bello also declared for Eddie and Patrick Harty.
Venetia Williams has hit red-hot form and is responsible for Victtorino, who won twice last season including in the Howden Silver Cup at Ascot.
Dan Skelton, a winner with Le Milos in 2022, is double handed in the feature with Midnight River and Galia Des Liteaux both declared. The latter finished second in a Listed race at Carlisle on her reappearance, while the former was third in a Wetherby Grade 3 this month.
The French challenge will come from the Noel George and Amanda Zetterholm-trained General En Chef, while Grade 2 winner Henry's Friend will take his chance and holds strong form for Ben Pauling.
Paul Nicholls has declared Kandoo Kid, while Iron Bridge, Sam Brown and Remastered complete the line-up.

Heavyweight clash between Sir Gino and Mystical Power
The eagerly anticipated heavyweight clash between Sir Gino and Mystical Power is on after both were declared for the Grade 1 BetMGM Fighting Fifth at Newcastle on Saturday (2.10).
Nicky Henderson had originally planned the top-level contest to be Constitution Hill's first run back in almost a year, but due to a minor setback the 2023 Champion Hurdle hero has been replaced by stablemate Sir Gino.
A winner on all three of his starts, including in Grade 1 company at Aintree in April, Sir Gino was due to embark on a chasing campaign this term, but the four-year-old has been re-routed to Newcastle.
Henderson has won this race five times since 2017, but Mullins will attempt to land the spoils this time with two-time top-level scorer Mystical Power. The five-year-old, whose sole defeat came to Slade Steel in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, ended last season with victory in the Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown.
In-form trainer Harry Derham will saddle his first Grade 1 runner as course-and-distance winner Brentford Hope has been declared. The seven-year-old has only finished outside the top three on one occasion since joining the yard in March last year.
Last-time-out winners Lump Sum, who registered a Grade 2 victory in February, and the Skelton-trained Take No Chances have been declared, while Tellherthename, Kihavah, Colonel Mustard and Benson complete the field of nine.

Coral Gold Cup tip and 1-2-3 prediction
1 Senior Chief
2 Broadway Boy
3 Neon Moon
By Stuart Redding, Weekender tipster
Senior Chief was pulled up in the Irish Grand National but has otherwise been progressive and cheekpieces helped him take another step forward at Cheltenham in October. The seven-yearold travelled powerfully throughout that contest and found plenty to hold off the late challenge of his stablemate The Short Go. He went up 9lb for that but has yet to reach his peak over fences. Broadway Boy was about 12 lengths behind but should get a lot closer on these more favourable terms.
