Confirmed runners and riders for Sunday's Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham
Dysart Enos will take on 15 rivals in her bid to provide Fergal O'Brien with a first success in the Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle (3.30) at Cheltenham on Sunday.Ā
The six-year-old mare is unbeaten in six starts, including at the track in December, but returns from a 295-day break in the premier handicap having been last seen winning at Doncaster in January before being a late absentee from the Mares' Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
She takes on the race-fit Burdett Road, who has performed admirably in Flat races this summer and returns to hurdles for the first time since finishing runner-up to Sir Gino on Trials day last season.Ā
Harry Cobden retains the ride on the James Owen-trained four-year-old, with Paul Nicholls not declaring his sole entry Liari for the Ā£100,000 contest.Ā
Dan Skelton relies on the lightly raced Be Aware after leaving out Williethebuilder at the declaration stage on Friday, with topweight Lump Sum and Spirit D'Aunou also ruled out.Ā
Last year's winning combination of Nicky Henderson, JP McManus and Nico de Boinville combine once more with new topweight Under Control, while Go Dante, who finished sixth behind Iberico Lord 12 months ago, lines up again for the in-form team of Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen.Ā
A field of 12 runners contest the preceding staying handicap chase (2.55) led by Abuffalosoldier, who makes his first appearance at the November meeting, and the Harry Fry-trained Hymac. Does He Know, who landed the 3m3Ā½f contest in 2022, also returns for Kim Bailey and Tom Bellamy.Ā
The fields for the remaining four races on Sunday's card have been reduced markedly at the declaration stage, with the Listed bumper (4.00) featuring just six runners from 15 entries, the opening maiden hurdle (1.10) retaining five declarations from 17 entries and just four runners in the 2m handicap chase (2.20) from 12 entries.Ā

Weekender tipster Jack Haynes shares his big-race advice for Cheltenham
1Ā Burdett Road
2 Jacovec Cavern
3Ā Under Control
Burdett Road looks a potential handicap blot. His sole defeat over hurdles as a juvenile came when second to subsequent Aintree Grade 1 winner Sir Gino at this track in January and he has since done well on the Flat.
He was a wide-margin Listed winner at Newmarket and sixth in the Long Distance Cup on his last two starts. A Flat rating of 109 suggests his hurdles mark of 133 is workable.
