Romance is all very well but business is business — which is why trainer Archie Watson apparently nipped out of a wedding to make plans for smart sprinter Albasheer.

He was attending the nuptials when Hollie Doyle failed by just a nose to get the strong-finishing six-year-old up in the Beverley Bullet on Saturday.

Sponsors Virgin Bet reacted by making the horse 10-1 favourite for the Ayr Gold Cup, in which he finished fourth last year.
