'After Aintree, she’s got to keep the ride' - owner delighted with Bryony Frost link-up for Sans Bruit in Haldon Gold Cup
Bryony Frost will be back in big-race action in Britain on Friday as she is reunited with Red Rum Chase winner Sans Bruit for Exeter's BetMGM Haldon Gold Cup.
Frost steered the Paul Nicholls-trained Sans Bruit to success at Aintree in April, less than a month before she relocated to France, and it is a link-up with owner Andy Peake – who has many of his best horses in training across the English Channel – which has resulted in a flying visit home.
Peake said: "I bumped into Bryony when General En Chef won a Grade 3 at Compiegne and, after Aintree, she’s got to keep the ride. She was brilliant on him that day.
