The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes is the main event at Ascot this Saturday. Nine runners are confirmed with Auguste Rodin the favourite. After a week of reasonably decent weather, the track is good to firm, and it looks increasingly likely that'll be the case come race time as the forecast for the weekend is dry and sunny.

Auguste Rodin is the favourite and is usually a high-class runner who has had several middle-distance successes on ground that's similar to what's expected on Saturday at Ascot.
