Paddy Power Dublin Racing Festival day one preview

There are four Grade 1 contests to get stuck into on the opening day of the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown on Saturday, kicking off with the 2m6f novice hurdle, which was won last year by subsequent Aintree and Punchestown festival winner Dancing City.

The following juvenile hurdle, which has been won by Willie Mullins for the last three years, is a must watch as it has produced the winner of the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival for the last four years.

The Irish Arkle has been won by the likes of Un De Sceaux, Douvan, Energumene and El Fabiolo in recent years and we could see another star chaser of the future unearthed this time with Majborough.
