Newport Bay (2.40 Thirsk)
8-1 (from 16-1)
Kevin Philippart de Foy has had seven winners, four seconds and two thirds from his 18 runners in the last two weeks and this juvenile is expected to progress from a sixth-place finish on debut. Her dam was a winner on her second start.
Lexington Belle (3.10 Thirsk)
3-1 (from 6-1)
First-time cheekpieces are added to this promising juvenile who has a strong chance on the form of her Musselburgh third last month. She was beaten in a stronger Newmarket maiden when last seen but is tested in a nursery here.
Lambert (3.30 Brighton)
7-2 (from 9-1)
This George Boughey-trained runner was well beaten on debut but has a good sprint pedigree and William Buick is booked. The yard won a Listed contest with a two-year-old last weekend.
