Valley Of Flowers (5.10 Catterick)
9-4 (from 9-2)
Consistent five-year-old who has been second on four of her six starts this year, including over course and distance last time. Jamil, who beat Valley Of Flowers by half a length on that occasion, has been raised 4lb for that success while the runner-up's mark of 55 is unchanged. Jacqueline Coward's mare has been well backed to reverse the form.
Beauty Generation (7.20 Chelmsford)
4-1 (from 15-2)
There has been some support for Marco Botti's son of Ulysses, despite the fact he has been well beaten on his first two starts. Beauty Generation was more than four lengths behind the reopposing Haya Taal on his debut at Kempton in June and failed to improve on that effort when eighth at Yarmouth last time. The support could be based on Beauty Generation stepping up to a mile from 7f for the first time.
Some Woman (7.30 Roscommon)
5-1 (from 16)
Some Woman was 16-1 overnight with bet365 but is now no bigger than 5-1. Sean Doyle has booked Galway Plate-winning rider Danny Gilligan, who takes 5lb off, to partner the seven-year-old for the first time. The Largy point-to-point winner is an eight-race maiden under rules but was fourth on her first start in a handicap chase over 2m at Wexford last time. The step back up in trip to 2m5½f should suit.
