Thatsy (3.05 Cartmel)
8-1 (from 22-1)
Has failed to win in 18 starts over fences but is now racing off a 34lb lower mark than when second at Down Royal in May 2021 and 25lb lower than when second at Catterick more recently in January 2022. Needs wind surgery to have done the trick but has the form to win over fences, having finished seventh in the County Hurdle at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival when trained by Gordon Elliott.
Bushfire (4.55 Newcastle)
6-1 (from 14)
Below form in two starts this season but was beaten a neck off 6lb higher at Southwell in December and a reproduction of that effort could see Gemma Tutty's four-year-old go close off a career-low mark.
Storm Alice (6.50 Chester)
4-1 (from 14-1)
Only beat one rival on her debut at Haydock but that novice was won by Ancient Wisdon, who cost €2 million as a yearling and has since followed up under a penalty at Newmarket. Ancient Wisdom has a Group 1 entry, so Storm Alice clearly wasn't disgraced on her first outing and could go close in this weaker contest.
