Windsor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his 24-line perm for the evening card

There is usually a decent Placepot pool to start the week at Windsor, and it kicks off with a wide open 1m3½f handicap (5.20).

Olympic Theatre is a consistent type who may improve for a stiffer test. It’s also worth including the first-time visored Prey For Glory.

George Boughey has enjoyed a fast start to the turf season with his juveniles and Cashew should put her experience to use in the 6f fillies’ novice (5.50). She rates banker material.

The 5f handicap (6.20) looks difficult. The Daley Express ran well when second on soft ground at Nottingham last time and should be in the mix. Kath’s Lustre is the best alternative.

Only three go to post in the 6f Listed race (6.50) and it’s worth putting in all three – Dream Of Dreams, Dubai Station and Garrus –and hoping for an upset to knock out a few units.

The 6f handicap (7.20) could go to Typhoon Ten. He ran well at Newbury on Friday and is a course-and-distance winner. Only two places are on offer, so put Aplomb in as well.

Matamua sets the standard in the mile fillies’ maiden (7.50) and can be relied on.
