Wigham runner to cash in on falling mark
No. 7
Foxy Forever
4.30 Wolverhampton
1pt win at 100-30 with Paddy Power and Betfair
This once smart sprint handicapper was rated 101 after a comfortable victory in an ultra-competitive running of the Rockingham at the Curragh in June 2015, but is without a win since and dropped all the way to only 78 before his last run at Newcastle.
Every horse has their level and Michael Wigham's gelding almost cashed in on the fall when beaten half a length in second by Outrage in that 5f handicap. That is strong form as the front two pulled a length and a half clear of the third and the winner followed up off a 5lb higher mark at Kempton next time.
