Tom Segal banks on three runners for his Fakenham Placepot

The ground has been desperate all around the country this week but that is unlikely to be the case at Fakenham where it never seems to get that bad.

Olly Murphy has a great record at the track and has lots of runners on the card starting with his good mare Allavina in the maiden hurdle (12.45).

She beat Martello Sky, who re-opposes, in a Market Rasen bumper last season and improved on that in a Listed race at Cheltenham on her comeback. This is a good race for the track but she should hit the frame without too many problems.
