The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon

BANKER

(1.05 Leopardstown)

Former French-trained five-year-old who travelled beautifully on debut for Willie Mullins at Punchestown in December but made a mistake at the last and couldn't get to the runaway leader. He quickly made amends when last seen, galloping clear of a good field to win decisively at the line (form boosted by the second) and he's strongly fancied to follow up en route to the Cheltenham Festival.

EYECATCHER

(1.15 Sandown)

This 1m7½f handicap chase is always the main target for the Paul Nicholls-trained Dolos, who has won it for the last two years, including when denying subsequent Grade 1-winner First Flow 12 months ago. He has had a similar preparation leading into this year's event with two promising fourths at Cheltenham in October and December respectively, and has been freshened up in a bid for the hat-trick.

DARK HORSE

(2.45 Leopardstown)

This five-year-old went off the radar after plundering the Boodles Juvenile Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last year off a mark of 138. He wasn't sighted when 15th in the Galway Hurdle in June and made no impression on his first two outings over fences, but he sparked into life in a first-time tongue-tie at Fairyhouse last month, rallying from well off the pace to run out a cosy winner, and could be very well treated off an opening chase mark of 141.
