The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon

GOOD THING

(2.05 Market Rasen)

Talented sort who finished second in a Grade 2 Supreme trial last January before taking sixth in the Cheltenham contest itself behind Shishkin in March. His Greatwood Hurdle fifth on reappearance would be good enough to win this race and hopes are high that punters can recuperate losses after Edwardstone unseated on his chase debut last time at a short price. Although he has to give upwards of 10lb to his rivals, he can make his class tell now that he reverts back to hurdling.

BANKER

(7.20 Kempton)

Unexposed four-year-old filly who didn't show much in five runs last campaign, but caught the eye when fourth on her reappearance at Kempton in November. She was subsequently heavily supported ahead of her latest assignment, in which she ran out a comfortable two-and-a-quarter-length winner under Laura Pearson. The crack apprentice retains the ride and under a 8lb penalty, she can follow up.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Mint Condition (2.25 Warwick)

There are plenty of unexposed hurdlers in this field but a double-figure price about this more experienced seven-year-old to hit the frame is too good to ignore. Jennie Candlish's runner fairly bolted up at Wetherby on Boxing Day in handicap company and could have easily entered this race on the back of four wins had he not made a hash out three-out at Aintree two starts back. He's guaranteed to run to his mark and that's good enough for me.
