The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon

BANKER

Megan (2.05 Aintree)

A juvenile winner on the Flat in Germany for former trainer Dominik Moser, Megan was purchased for just €22,000 in October this year and was the subject of strong market support ahead of her debut on testing ground at Leicester just a month later. The three-year-old filly jumped beautifully throughout and never turned a hair, eventually romping home to a decisive nine-and-a-half-length victory. She achieved a Racing Post Rating of 117 that day and won't need to improve too much to match the average winning RPR (123) of this Listed contest over the last eight years.

EYECATCHER

Orrisdale (2.47 Wetherby)

Lightly raced six-year-old who managed to win a bumper at the second time of asking at Bangor last spring despite the 2m½f looking an inadequate test of stamina. Orrisdale proved he was a classy operator when plundering a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter this time last year, before jumping poorly when upped in trip on his two remaining outings. He wasn't able to show what he's about on his chasing debut on his reappearance (brought down at the second) but should thrive over the birch and is expected to defy topweight for trainer Jonjo O'Neill.
