The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon

GOOD THING

Felix(2.40 Lingfield)

Four-year-old Father Of Jazz has done little wrong so far for Roger Varian but has plenty to find with the 107-rated Felix, who deserves to be favourite after a fine effort when second to Bangkok last time. Race-fit after two runs on the all-weather this year, Felix was unfavoured by a muddling pace in a small field last time and found himself completely out of position turning in as the pace quickened. Nevertheless, he stuck on powerfully for runner-up honours and is due compensation under Hollie Doyle.

EYECATCHER

(4.45 Kempton)

There are a few unknown quantities in this bumper, but the well-regarded Guardino catches the eye for trainer Ben Pauling and looks a value play at around 5-1. He stayed on well for second in his point behind a rival that has subsequently finished third in an Irish bumper, and took plenty of money ahead of his rules debut at Carlisle in November. He didn't justify favouritism that day but scoped dirty after the race and is expected to put in a much improved display.
