A three-year-old son of Power who is related to multiple stayers who produced their best form over 2m or further, Rewired showed a good level of ability over inadequate tests last year and warrants respect on his three-year-old reappearance. Trained by the shrewd David Menuisier, Rewired pounced late with a strong burst to win a mile novice event at this track in October, before bumping into prolific winner Act Of Wisdom at Newmarket 15 days later. He was strong at the finish over 1m2f then, so the extra two furlongs should suit, and a mark of 75 looks fair.
