There are few trainers able to get the best out of their sprinters like the excellent Eddie Lynam, and he looked to unearth a relatively useful prospect in the shape of Gobi Star at Navan last month. There was no beating 101-rated New York City on that occasion, but he shaped encouragingly as the well-held second and ought to improve for that experience. Connections have had to be patient with him considering he's a four-year-old making just his second start, but he could be worth the wait and this doesn't appear to be the deepest of maidens.
