The Punt Daily: Mark Boylan's free horse racing tip at Fairyhouse on Monday
HANDICAP HOPE
Vadaly (2.05 Fairyhouse)
Willie Mullins and Kenny Alexander nearly plundered a €100,000 handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse on Saturday when sending out a pair of relatively inexperienced fillies to finish second and third, and the same connections hold leading claims of getting on the scoresheet in Sunday's opener at the same venue with Vadaly. This debut hurdles winner in France has been thrown in at the deep end for her first two starts since joining the champion trainer, but now tries a novice handicap hurdle off a mark of 121. She showed some promise without setting the world alight in those couple of outings behind stablemates Vauban and Icare Allen, shaping as though she'd improve for those runs. Any rain that falls will likely be in her favour and she should be bang there if her inexperience doesn't hold her back.
