The Punt Daily: James Stevens' free horse racing tip at Ffos Las on Tuesday
EACH-WAY PLAY
Blumen Glory (1.50 Ffos Las)
It is rare in the current climate to be looking through 17-runner handicaps in Britain but the Get Well Soon Ricky Leeson Handicap Hurdle bucks the trend, and one horse in particular makes each-way appeal. Not all runners will have a preference for the good to soft ground, yet it is poised to suit Neil Mulholland's runner Blumen Glory who comes here off the back of a fine second at Southwell. He travelled strongly but just could not quite get near the well-backed winner in the closing stages. That rival, in fairness, looks a cut above this type of grade. Blumen Glory was still 11 lengths clear of the third and now drops in class. Because of that he carries a big weight here, but that could be a good option given the size of this former point-to-point second and the more galloping track should be to his liking too. Additionally, the trainer's runners are in good form.
