The Punt Acca: Robbie Wilders' three racing tips on Wednesday

Monsieur Lambrays (3.20 Pontefract)

Jedd O'Keeffe's unexposed pair are respected in this 2m1f handicap but Monsieur Lambrays should still be a tough nut to crack. You can draw a line through his 12th in the Northumberland Vase last time as he was inconvenienced by his draw, and the form is working out really well anyway as the seventh, eighth and 14th all won next time and plenty of others have come out and run well in defeat. Monsieur Lambrays, who lost a decent race in the stewards' room at York two starts back off 2lb lower, should have more in the tank on just his fifth run for Richard Fahey over a trip we know he stays.

Bay Of Bengal(6.30 Sligo)

The form of Bay Of Bengal’s defeat of Magic Chegaga at the Curragh in June was franked in no uncertain terms with the second landing the 18-runner Colm Quinn BMW Mile at the Galway festival off 1lb higher last week. Bay Of Bengal is up 4lb in this 1m2f contest, and the fact it was only her third career start against a high-class filly with 16 outings under her built means she deserves plenty of credit for getting the job done. The Willie McCreery-trained four-year-old is progressive and should be too strong granted normal improvement.

Murau (8.50 Kempton)

It was remarkable Murau scored on his last start in a course-and-distance handicap given he was held up off a desperately slow pace and still managed to put the race to bed in decisive fashion from a couple of decent staying yardsticks. A 4lb rise is expected to underestimate this James Fanshawe-trained four-year-old, who remains unexposed over staying trips and is progressing with each start. William Buick retains the ride and he remains a stayer to follow.
