The Punt Acca: Owen Goulding's three horse racing tips on Thursday

General Lee(4.56 Salisbury)

Anyone who backed General Lee at Newbury last month is likely still licking their wounds, as the four-year-old looked almost certain to win when he established an 11-length lead off the turn. He was ultimately collared late on, but it was still a great effort in the circumstances and he holds Rogue Rocket on that form. David Probert takes over in the saddle and a more conservative ride off the same rating is likely to be enough.

Winforglory(7.00 Windsor)

Making his debut at Tipperary, Winforglory ran a huge race for second despite running greenly at odds of 100-1. Subsequently, he joined the Richard Hughes stable, and has won a pair of races at Yarmouth and Lingfield. The winner of that Tipperary contest had the benefit of nine prior runs and has subsequently finished second in a handicap off a rating of 86. Making his handicap debut off a mark of 79, he looks fairly treated and holds obvious claims.

Silverscape(7.30 Windsor)

Roger Teal's Silverscape is not the most straightforward of runners, but he has fallen into the eyecatcher category on his two most recent starts and looks handicapped to strike. Latterly, he finished second to Andaleep in a Sunday Series contest at Sandown, coming from a long way back over 1m2f. That run suggested he was well worth a try at this longer distance and a 3lb pull with that aforementioned rival can help him turn the tables for his in-form trainer.
