Min, second in last season's Supreme Novices' Hurdle, made his chasing debut at Navan and punters who took the 1-3 about Willie Mullins' ace had few concerns as he cruised to a commanding ten-length victory.

His in-running high of 1.34 on Betfair underlined his superiority and he is into 5-1 for the Racing Post Arkle.

Min's win was the only race at Navan trainer Gordon Elliott did not win on Sunday and he unearthed a Grand National contender in Empire Of Dirt, who struck in the 25-runner Troytown Chase.
