Beau Gosse won at Auteuil in September in the race won by 2013 winner Irish Saint. He then ran with great credit in the championship three-year-old event there in early November, in which Guillaume Macaire also had the first two. He’s a serious contender and there were three French-trained winners between 2000 and 2006.
