Kieran O’Neill and the Ian Williams-trained Pretty Jewel have a perfect 2-2 record when joining forces and they bid for the hat-trick in the 4.05 at Doncaster. The return to a flatter track should suit this mare after she disappointed at Epsom last time.

When brothers Dan and Harry Skelton combine at Uttoxeter it’s worth taking note, as they have a 41 per cent strike-rate at the venue. They saddle two horses today, with Boston Heather (2.15) the pick of those. This course-and-distance winner has run well on both starts since joining the stable and will appreciate the ground.

Hugo Palmer has a 50 per cent strike-rate at Carlisle and sends Startego (3.10) to the course. This son of New Approach will appreciate the switch to a turf surface and can leave his debut run well behind him.
