Tom George has an excellent 40 per cent strike-rate at Southwell with hurdle debutants. Copper West goes in the 2.20, a race the trainer has won twice in the last three years.
Warren Greatrex has a cracking record at Lingfield, where he operates at a 47 per cent strike-rate. He has just one runner on the card, Rose Of Cimarron, who goes in the 1.30. She was a bit out of her depth in a Listed bumper last time out but she was an impressive winner before that who can go well on her first start over hurdles.
