Signposts: Long absence should not stop punters making a Menthe

His sole runner is Cheltenam De Vaige, who goes in the 3.10 at Huntingdon and ran a race full of promise on stable debut last time. This longer trip will suit.

Sirop De Menthe’s 217-day break shouldn’t prove a problem as he is two from two when returning after an absence of 200 days or more. Now 4lb lower than his last winning mark, he goes in the 3.20 at Lingfield, where his form figures are 21.
