Tom Dascombe has enjoyed a 50 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks and sends Wild Edric (3.30) to Pontefract. The three-year-old is having his first run since being gelded.

This is a prime time of year for Tom Lacey, the trainer has a 32 per cent strike-rate two weeks either side of today's date. He saddles Triopas, who is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time.
