Oliver Greenall is the top trainer at Newcastle with six wins from 11 runners, a 55 per cent strike-rate. His sole runner at the track this evening is Spirit Of The Vale in the 5.50.

Before Wednesday night’s meeting at Yarmouth, Michael Appleby and Silvestre de Sousa had individual strike-rates of ten and 24 per cent at the Norfolk track in the last five years. That rises to 43 per cent when they combine. They do so with By Royal Approval in the 2.10.
