In-form Adam Kirby can find the gaps on Donncha 3.10 Goodwood

Kirby enjoyed Group 2 success in France on Sunday with Tis Marvellous and has been riding at the top of his game this week, having already booted home two winners from only six rides at Glorious Goodwood. When things are going well, the gaps often open and it is worth taking a chance on Kirby getting the breaks on the perennially unlucky Donncha.

Always held up and well suited by a strong pace, this five-year-old was second on his reappearance in the Spring Mile at Doncaster and found trouble in running when fifth in a Listed handicap at York’s Ebor meeting next time. With a clear run he would have gone close to beating winner Always Smile.
