Keith Dalgleish’s filly had useful form in maidens and bumped into Queen Mary fourth Kocollada when third at Thirsk in May. She was again behind that rival at Musselburgh the following month and took a step forwards when breaking her duck at Hamilton last time.
That was a deserved win after several good efforts in defeat and Kodi Da Capo showed a good attitude to fight back and beat the runner-up Cuppacoffee by a short head. The front pair were clear of the third and the form was franked when the second won at this course on his next outing.
