Saturday's free racing tips: our expert selections for a Boxing Day bonanza

Handicappers' nap

Third Time Lucki (12.40 Kempton)

Last season's Champion Bumper fourth may have lost his unbeaten hurdle record last time, but he was the only horse to make ground on the talented tearaway For Pleasure and he can resume winning ways.

Ace tipster

Embittered (2.15 Leopardstown)

No shame in finishing second to Andy Dufresne and the ill-fated Easywork in two beginners' chases and his County Hurdle third is working out superbly.
Robbie Wilders

Newmarket nap

Lord Halifax (2.55 Wolverhampton)

Ran well to be second on his first start since a wind op last time and has since moved well on Warren Hill.
David Milnes

Speed figures

Papa Stour (3.30 Wolverhampton)

Has progressed significantly this year and can make it four wins from his last five starts. Personal best at Kempton last time which is invariably a positive pointer.
Dave Edwards

Spotlight nap

Clan Des Obeaux (3.00 Kempton)

Grade 1 credentials are rather thin elsewhere but he's reigned supreme in this race for the last two years and a very good second at Haydock last month suggests he may raise his game further back on the track that suits him best.
Richard Austen

Dark horse

William H Bonney (1.15 Kempton)

Ran well for a long way on his chase debut at Newbury last month and that experience, plus the additional half mile, should bring about plenty of improvement. Alan King's runner is well handicapped on his best hurdles form and should enjoy ground conditions.
