'66-1 is massive about this horse - he's teased and tormented me for years but I can see him running a corker'

Upping The Ante stars Johnny Dineen and David Jennings provide their weekend naps and thoughts on the big races

How did last weekend go?

Johnny Dineen: Middlin'. Joyeuse won, I suppose, but after that it was a tale of woe.

David Jennings: Worse than middlin'. Djelo won, I suppose, but after that my tale of woe was worse than Johnny's.

Who's the best bet on Saturday?

Johnny: I really like the look of Crest Of Fortune in the 2m3f novice hurdle at Ascot (4.10). He's finally getting the test he needs, stepping up from two miles, and blinkers should eke out a bit more improvement in him, as well. The two main dangers – Kingston Pride and First Confession – both have weaknesses which can be exposed by Harry Cobden's mount. Kingston Pride returns from a ten-week absence following a blowout at Sandown, while First Confession put up a similarly lethargic effort when finishing tailed off in the Challow Hurdle. Crest Of Fortune has fewer questions to answer and he gets a confident vote.
