Placepot: Paul Kealy has one last attempt at cracking the Cheltenham pool
The opening Triumph Hurdle (1.20) is top-heavy with talent, but as long as eight still go both Zanahiyr and should hit the frame.
I'm going with the latter as he has the form on decent ground, but I don't expect to be kicking the favourite out of the frame. More chances have to be taken later on, though, so a banker is needed.
The County Hurdle (1.55) is obviously very difficult, but Dan Skelton and Willie Mullins have bagged the last six between them, so you certainly need them on your side.
Mullins' was fourth last year and is just the type to bounce back to form without winning, while is going to love the strong pace compared to last time at Musselburgh for Skelton.
This needs coverage, though, and I expect big runs from and .
The Albert Bartlett (2.30) is invariably the hardest of the novice hurdles and this year is no different. I'm not that keen on the front pair of Stattler and Fakiera, but I think Irish pair of and will go well, as will for Fergal O'Brien.
I'll be opposing in the Gold Cup (3.05) for win purposes, but while I can see various different scenarios involving other horses, I can't really see him failing to make the three, so the strategy here is to bank on him and go for more coverage elsewhere.
The hunter chase (3.40) is not my bag, but it has to be interesting Harry Cobden rides , while Billawayhas an obvious chance for Paul Townend.
Willie Mullins wins nearly all the mares' races (4.15), and is obviously a worthy favourite in the last, while has good form here. It will be a surprise if both are out of the frame.
