Paul Kealy's Tote Placepot advice at Haydock

The Tote's Placepot Insurance meeting (£10 back if your whole perm goes down in the first leg) is at Haydock, where some of the fields are small and uncompetitive.

It is, therefore, tempting to go for just one £10 line and hope to get the favourite beaten in the first leg!

Allart (12.55) is obviously the one to beat, but Haydock was waterlogged midweek and these are the sort of conditions which can catch any horse out.

Marownhas plenty to find with him and Silver Hallmark, but he's 2-2 on heavy and jumped really well out of the ground at Ayr last time, so he gets the vote. It's money back if he can't topple one of the front two.

Assuming we're through, (1.30), who powered away from main market rival Minella Drama on these terms at Bangor three starts ago, ought to make the first two in the next.

Leg three (2.05) is more difficult, but , back over hurdles, is a proper mudlark who seems to love this track, while looks all class and can take the Peter Marsh (2.40) despite top weight.

(3.15) is so well favoured by the weights that a returning win must be on the cards, while in the last (3.50) Protek Des Floshas a heavy fall to overcome, but he has had a few weeks off and is 4-5 on heavy ground and nicely treated.
