Paris Lights cost a massive 650,000 guineas as a yearling but ultimately proved disappointing for Jessica Harrington and was sold for just under a tenth of that.

However, he was really impressive on his debut for George Boughey in a novice race at this track last month and he might well prove a bargain at the knockdown price.

He has been raised 5lb to a mark of 80 for this handicap debut, but given his pedigree and the way he won last time it will be a surprise if he doesn't prove more than up to it at some stage.

Hopefully it will be today under Ryan Moore.
