This trip is probably too sharp for Magic Of Light to be considered for win purposes, but she's actually the highest-rated mare in the field and getting weight from a few, including Salsaretta.

In a handicap, the Willie Mullins-trained Salsaretta would be 10lb better off, and she comes into the race having finishing tailed off when last seen in January.

She could, of course, bounce back, but she hardly comes here in great nick in comparison with Magic Of Light, who has been in the first two in 11 of her 17 chases and who is being prepared for the Randox Grand National.

There is an argument for saying she is being underestimated in the outright market too, especially as she can go from the front, which has proved such a good tactic on this course.

However, given the form she is in (fair second over hurdles last time), the one and a half lengths she gives Salsaretta looks a gimme.
