El Misk (6.15 Newcastle, nap)

The Derby entry has been pleasing in his work on Waterhall and the Al Bahathri this spring and is fancied to be straight enough to collect first time for John Gosden.

Others to follow
Chelmsford: 1.30 Painted Dream, 2.00 Shimmering Dawn, 2.35 Canimar, 3.40 Juanito Chico, 4.10 Balladeer, 4.45 Navadir, 5.15 Gas Monkey.
Newcastle: 6.45 Kinver Edge, 7.15 Pageant Master, 7.45 Martineo, 8.15 Stallone.

North: Colin Russell

Absolute Jaffa (5.30 Ludlow, nap)

Well-related filly who showed plenty of promise when a staying-on fourth at Market Rasen on her hurdling debut. Open to significant improvement from that race and fancied to get off the mark this time.

Others to follow
Chelmsford:
2.00 Diva D, 2.35 Mr Potter, 3.05 La Cumparsita, 3.40 Mustadun, 4.45 Rock Up In Style, 5.15 Orobas.
Ludlow:
3.20 Tim Rocco.
Newcastle:
5.45 Stargazer, 6.15 Rochester House, 6.45 Hesslewood, 7.15 Zoom Out, 7.45 Chookie Dunedin, 8.15 Tie A Yellowribbon.

Lambourn: James Burn

Timoteo (3.55 Ludlow, nap)

Six-year-old looks a chaser going places and might be better going left-handed, but in-form trainer Alan King looks to have found a golden opportunity for the gelding to complete a 22-day hat-trick.

Others to follow
Chelmsford:
1.30 Shorter Skirt, 2.00 Sundiata, 3.40 Arctic Sea, 4.45 Charmed Spirit, 5.15 Bayston Hill.
Ludlow: 2.50 Fox Appeal, 5.30 Dieu Benisse.
Newcastle: 7.45 Choice Encounter.

West Country: Andrew King

Dr Sanderson (2.15 Ludlow, nap)

Will be suited by the decent ground and Bryan Carver's claim takes off a valuable 7lb so he can score again.

Others to follow
Ludlow
: 3.20 Peruvien Bleu.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Dieu Benisse (5.30 Ludlow, nap)

Still to complete but was in the process of giving the smart Posh Trish a race when falling at the last on her hurdling debut and, granted a clear round, should be hard to beat in this grade.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Kinver Edge (6.45 Newcastle)

Made all to break his duck at Chelmsford in February and can concede weight all round on his handicap bow.

Longshot: Dave Revers

Alfred The Grey (7.15 Newcastle)

2lb lower than when third over course-and-distance last October and could cause a minor upset at an each-way price.
