Key trainer quotes looking ahead to the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup at on March 14

Dan Skelton, trainer of Grey Dawning
I’d probably like to run him next in the Denman Chase and I think that’ll be the first possibility. We’ve just got to see how he is and I’m not getting drawn into anything at the moment.

Venetia Williams, trainer of L’Homme Presse and Royale Pagaille
The plan is to run Royale Pagaille in the Peter Marsh at Haydock on Saturday. He had a little bit of a hold up after his Betfair Chase win but he’s in good order now and the Gold Cup is on his radar. L’Homme Presse ran well at Kempton. It wasn’t really his ground and he would have liked softer conditions. I was pleased with his run, he’s been in good order since and he’ll probably go for the Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham on Trials day.
