'He has a similar profile to last year's winner' - trainers on their Coral Gold Cup hopefuls
Kim Bailey, trainer of Chianti Classico and Trelawne
It was a good performance from Chianti Classico at Ascot, carrying topweight and making all. He's entered in the Betfair Chase, but that would need to cut up, and the Coral Gold Cup. It normally takes him a month between races so both of them might come too soon. Trelawne is also in at Newbury and if the ground is suitable that's where he'll go.
David Pipe, trainer of Remastered and Neon Moon
Remastered runs this weekend, but it'll be a tougher race on Saturday. Neon Moon ran a career-best race at Ascot, but a lot will obviously depend on the ground. The quicker the ground, the more likely it is both will run.
Lucinda Russell, trainer of Apple Away
