This good-looking gelding has not been the easiest to train, but he returned to the track looking fit and healthy for only his second run since April 2015. He slotted in behind the leaders and his jumping was fluent from the moment the race was under way. He just didn’t have the necessary pace as he was asked to take closer order clearing the third-last, but I like the way he kept on strongly through the line. I am sure he will have no problems stepping up another half-mile in trip.
