Kempton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his perm on Wednesday night

There are plenty of runners on the evening card at Kempton and the opening mile handicap (5.15) looks ultra-competitive. Dewey Road could run well after a strong-finishing third at Lingfield two weeks ago, while Sun Emperor is the best alternative.

Division one of the mile novice (5.50) is an interesting race featuring some nice prospects. Border Edge won well at Nottingham last time and Caph Star showed promise on his debut.

Frankie Dettori rides Moon Watch in the second division (6.20) for John and Thady Gosden and he should be able to build on his debut victory at Nottingham when he got up to lead late.

It is also worth having another banker in the following 7f novice (6.50) because Silver Knott showed promise when fourth as 11-10 favourite on his debut at Newbury and should win this.

Kingofhell did a lot wrong in a four-runner race at Haydock last time, but he finished well for third and might improve for blinkers in the 7f handicap (7.20). Cuban Beat looks next best.

Finally, you bank on Dettori and the Gosdens again with Dignified in the closing 1m4f novice (7.50).
