Harry Angel looks a heaven-sent wager

Harry Angel 4.55 Goodwood

SP forecast 7-4

Well-bred son of Dark Angel out of a half-sister to the stable’s high-class performer Xtension, who won his maiden at this course before landing the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at this meeting in 2009. Harry Angel was beaten by a nose on his debut in a 5f novice event at Ascot, splitting two experienced rivals, and that form sets the standard. An 80-day absence suggests all may not have been well since, but he should stay 6f and is held in high regard by Clive Cox, who has some useful juveniles in his yard.
