Competed in some of the hottest handicaps of last season and caught the eye on a couple of occasions, most notably when flying home for sixth in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury and taking seventh in the Coral Cup here. He wound up with a good third to My Drogo in a Grade 1 at Aintree and can outclass these rivals off top weight.

Ran well for a long way in last season's Paddy Power Gold Cup when well fancied. Reverted to hurdles afterwards and finished the season with a respectable third at Ayr. Still only a six-year-old, time is on his side and it would be a surprise if he's not better than his current mark of 139.
