The Tote’s £50,000 Placepot guarantee is at Wolverhampton and the opening 1m½f handicap (4.35) is wide open. Billy McGarry looks solid and so does Harbour Vision.

The 5f handicap (5.10) is next and this looks like a good opportunity for a banker. My Genghis comes here on a hat-trick and is a course-and-distance winner in top form now.

The 1m1½f novice (5.45) is a trappy race with several top yards represented, but not many have solid form credentials. Prevail is capable of better and Hillbridge also goes in the perm.

Another wide-open 6f handicap (6.15) follows and Crimson Angel should run well after a close fifth at Southwell last time. It’s also worth including the bang-in-form Phoenix Beach.

Diamond Ranger and Crown Of India are the picks in the 1m4f handicap (6.45), while the 1m1½f fillies' handicap (7.15) looks like another difficult one. Lia Rose goes in alongside Shahnaz.
