Wolverhampton Placepot picks: Richard Birch takes aim at £50,000 guaranteed pool

Wolverhampton offers an interesting all-weather card for Placepot players chasing the £50,000 guaranteed pool.

Five-time all-weather winner Enola Grey appeals in leg two (5.30), with apprentice Warren Fentiman taking off a valuable 7lb. Noisy Music, a course winner last September, has a largely consistent profile and should also be included in perms.

Orangesandlemons has the best form in leg three (6.00) and looks likely to make a bold bid to make it third-time-lucky. The unraced filly Song Of Dubai would be of interest if there is any market confidence behind her. 

Roger Varian’s Bobby Bennu stands out in leg four (6.30), while Havana Force and Circles both seem set to figure prominently in leg five (7.00).

Maharajas Express could go well on his first start for Ian Williams in leg six (7.30), with Apache Star, fitted with first-time blinkers, also worthy of serious consideration.
