Tuesday's free racing tips: five horses to consider putting in your multiples
Tuesday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters . . .
Handicappers' nap
Kestrel Valley (4.10 Hereford)
Has moved yards since winning easily over course and distance in March and, despite a hefty rise in the handicap, she could still prove well treated on her debut for the in-form Nigel Twiston-Davies stable.
Steve Mason
The Punt nap
Itso Fury (4.00 Exeter)
Has travelled well on both of his starts over this sort of trip in competitive handicaps. This looks an easier contest and Jonjo O'Neill's six-year-old has shown enough to suggest he can win this off a mark of 125.
Lee Sharp
Eyecatcher
Intervention (7.00 Wolverhampton)
Mick Appleby's gelding finished well clear of the rest when runner-up at Kempton last time and should be hard to beat off the same mark.
Steffan Edwards
Speed figures
Intervention (7.00 Wolverhampton)
Clocked some decent time performances, notably when second at Southwell in February when rated 79, last winter to suggest he should be competitive off 71.
Craig Thake
Dark horse
Lounge Lizard (3.00 Exeter)
Comfortable winner of two small-field handicaps before a slightly underwhelming finish to his season at Aintree in May. Versatile ground wise and not out of this if he can resume his previously progressive form after a break.
Tom Gibbings
West Country nap
Sherborne (2.30 Exeter)
Won at a higher level in May and should come on from his run at the start of the month. Yet to fire over fences but looks the class horse in the race.
