Thursday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiple bets
Thursday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters . . .
Handicappers' nap
Naaey (4.50 Haydock)
This lightly raced filly showed improved form when a well-supported winner at Doncaster last time, scoring comfortably from a couple of nicely treated rivals. Kieran Shoemark's mount looks the type with more to offer and can defy a 6lb rise.
Paul Curtis
Eyecatcher
Argentali (5.35 Lingfield)
George Baker's filly ran with promise on her first two starts on the all-weather. She was not so good on turf last time but she's had a wind operation before this handicap debut and returning to Polytrack will suit.
Steffan Edwards
The Punt nap
Bolo Neighs (6.10 Newbury)
Chased home subsequent Listed and Group 3 winner Aesterius last time and the step up to 6f should suit Ralph Beckett's juvenile.
Charlie Huggins
Newmarket nap
Defence Minister (4.17 Haydock)
Won very well on his debut on the Newmarket July course last month and fancied to follow up after some smart work on the Al Bahathri.
David Milnes
Speed figures
Magic Mild (3.50 Salisbury)
Progressive filly clocked a good time when landing a valuable nursery last time and can handle the step up to Group company.
Craig Thake
Dark horse
Mercury Day (4.40 Newbury)
Progressive for Conrad Allen this season, should be suited by the drop in trip and return to turf, with her yard among the winners.
